Friday AWANA

This school year we continue the onsite AWANA. These 2-3 years had put a lot of stress to our children as well as parents. Now the situation is much better, we are rebuilding the connection and fellowship together with our clubbers, parents and leaders. Some exciting news and updates to share with you all:
- Our Awana will be an integrated part of the HOC6’s NGS program. The HOC6 NGS program covers our children’s K-12 growth in church, and extend to post high school graduate experiences. Super excited to see the entire program comes along!
- Awana Cubbies, Sparks and T&T program will continue and expand to cover offsite experience. For T&T graduates who wish to continue on Awana’s Citation Track Program, we will try make special arrangements.
- 2023 HOC6 AWANA started in the first week around Chinese New Year Eve, on Friday Jan 20th, 8pm-9:30pm in HOC6 church.

Friday Youth Fellowship
Leader： Dorcas Chang （Director of Youth Ministry)
In September 2022, the youth fellowship at Home of Christ 6 returned to meeting in person on Friday nights. The fellowship welcomes all youth from sixth grade through twelfth grade. Our usual activities include icebreaker games, a lesson or short message, small group discussions, and snacks and games to end the night. Occasionally we will have a special event such as a game night.
Since a majority of the youth have not gathered regularly in the last few years, we believe that this is a crucial moment to focus on building their relationships with each other and most importantly Christ. We strive to create a place where the youth can learn how to build community with one another and where they are challenged to grow in their relationship with God. We hope the fellowship will be an encouragement to the youth just as they are an encouragement to the church.
